Mondays from 6:30-7:30 p.m.

Join us as we read the classic "Betsy-Tacy" series by Maud Hart Lovelace. The group meets once a week to read, discuss the book and learn about the author. Each meeting includes refreshments and a fun, easy take-home craft based on the Betsy-Tacy stories we're reading.

  • Children's Picture Books • For ages 6 and under
  • Junior • Early chapter books for beginning readers, usually RL 6.0 and under, or ages 8 through 12.
  • Young Adult • Full length books, 120 pages or more, for strong readers.
    Grades 7 through 12. May contain mature themes.

  • A cozy spot just for kids to wait while mom, dad, uncles, aunts, or grandparents browse.
Child-Friendly Bathrooms
  • Equipped with a potty training seat and a diaper changing table.

  • Your child hears great stories while you shop
  • Every Saturday 10:30 AM
  • For children ages 1 year to 6 years.

Recommended ReadingWe frequently get asked for recommendations for kids books. A good place to start is the Children's Book Council website.
They have reading lists for different ages as well as recommendations each month for events happening that month.
Children's Book Week is an annual event sponsored by The Children's Book Council each year to raise
awareness of the importance of reading to children. For chapter books, look at the:

  • The Odyssey series by Mary Pope Osborne
  • The Bunnicula series by James Howe
  • The American Girl books
  • Beverly Cleary
  • Roald Dahl
  • The Borrowers series by Mary Norton
